This course offers a course in Hospital Management to build the capacities and skills of health managers, aimed at anyone wishing to enhance their approach to health management. Healthcare service organizations, including hospitals, are influenced by the external environment and, in turn, impact it, as all management functions interact with the environment. Medical systems are open systems, constantly adapting to environmental changes, human resources, materials, financing, media, technology, and time, producing outputs in the form of goods (products). Health and hospital managers are among the most critical personnel within the organization, recently taking on administrative roles in three main areas. These roles include expanding decision-making responsibilities and broadening the concept of management to involve anyone responsible for a specific system. Building managerial capacity includes the legal authority of managers, such as attending meetings, signing documents, forming connections, motivating employees, and making decisions, which may shift rapidly and require various procedures and practices to be completed.
